Grant Successes

Congratulations to Dr Burcu Can who has secured two research grants!

KTP: This two-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Predyktable Ltd and the University of Stirling will develop an AI-powered forensic tool to forecast economic losses in commercical litigation. The project aims to reduce the time and cost of traditional forensic accounting, addressing concerns around transparency, accuracy, and compliance with legal evidentiary standards. Using large language models, and predictive analytics, the tool will turn unstructured legal and business data, such as contracts, emails, and financial records into structured datasets that support legally robust, explainable loss forecats.

BioAgora: With Northumbria University as the lead institution, this 13-month EU project aims to develop an innovative approach for selecting the most appropriate methods to address environmental requests. To achieve this, an AI tool based on large language models will be developed to assist with initial scoping, allowing researchers to focus on extracting relevant information from the selected papers for assessment.
